WebChatGPT is an extension for Chrome that enhances the user experience on ChatGPT with relevant web results. It is an open-source project with its source code available for anyone to review and contribute to.

The extension is designed with privacy in mind, only asking for bare minimum permissions and does not collect any user data. WebChatGPT is compatible with a variety of languages and can be used to inject modified prompts directly into ChatGPT's api calls for more accurate and up-to-date conversations.

The extension also has a toggle to minimize web searches as they can clutter the chat screen.
